CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS IN PURSUIT OF ADVENTURE
At CBC we like to do things rather differently, since the company was found we have only worked with people and projects we feel 100% passionate about, people we believe in who need a voice to tell their inspiring stories. We support our clients with all elements of communications from:
Digital (websites and social media support)
Media (PR, copy writing & media management/ coverage generation
TV (idea generation / pitching/ contracting)
Brand sponsorship (seeking / securing and managing corporate sponsorships)
General support (diary management/ photography/ speaking support/ sounding board!)
No client is the same and we love the variety and energy each of our clients bring.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN…
Campbell-Bell Communications (CBC) was born in 2007 out of self-determination, a desire to do things differently and some well needed encouragement from my family and a certain Mr Bear Grylls (more on him later).
Having worked for large corporations in the luxury drinks world for 4 years (Allied Domecq and Pernod Ricard) I found myself passionate about the brands I was working for but disheartened by the corporate environment which could often lead to ideas being stifled and creativity lost. Equally, I had appointed agencies to support me in the past but had constantly been disappointed in their lack of drive, ability to deliver and general creativity. There could and should be another way to be successful right?!
When I launched CBC I took with me 2 wonderful brands as my first clients Champagne Perrier-Jouët and Champagne Mumm. Over the next 10 years they remained the mainstay clients of my agency and together with my wonderful team, we developed a successful Arts Platform for Perrier-Jouët (launching the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon – an influential art prize and countless arts sponsorships in the UK) and created the G.H.Mumm Cordon Rouge Club – a unique and inspiring club of 30 + leading explorers and adventurers.
The Cordon Rouge Club was a total passion project for me. Working with inspiring and charming people like Col John Blashford-Snell, Sir Chris Bonnington, Ben Fogle, Leo Houlding, Dee Caffari to name but a few and our first Chairman Bear Grylls lead to some incredible adventures both in the UK and globally. Organising dinners in Antarctica and in cricket in the middle of the Solent not to mention designing champagne ‘survival packs’ with Bear…. The heady and indeed time old combination, of champagne and adventure saw great success for us and the brand. The success of the Cordon Rouge Club lead to the next natural phase of CBC where we moved into personal representation. Our first client, and am delighted to say he still is with us, was Charley Boorman and from that moment we have never looked back.
Our knowledge and understanding how to navigate the corporate world combined with our passion to support and promote extraordinary people has taken us on a journey where we have proudly represented many many wonderful people and projects over the years. From expeditions such as the first British Triathlon the length of the UK (Sean Conway) and a Greenland kite skiing trek (Tom Avery) to the televised Walking the Nile with Levison Wood and the worlds first flying car expedition with Neil Laughton, Gilo Cardozo and Parajet. We have had to swiftly become expert pretty quickly on everything from Arctic logistics to aviation know-how!
But I would never have taken the leap to achieve what we have without a little help at the start. I remember vividly a meeting with Bear at his home when I was contemplating my future and his words ‘ go for it, you can do it on your own’ in his usual encouraging style stuck with me as I drove back to London on the M4. Bear also committed to support me on my journey and indeed we have had some fun adventures together over the years from developing and launching his Bear Grylls Survival Academy with fellow client Mantis as well as many a jaunt with the Cordon Rouge Club or sailing at Cowes week.
At CBC we are driven by the people we represent who never cease to amaze or inspire us, all we need to do is tell their story and make sure the world knows what legends they all are.
Thank you to each and every one of our clients over the years, we have had so many fun adventures together and we look forward to countless more!
